Inductors
An inductor is a coil consisting of wire with insulated turns and having significant inductance—that is, the ability to store energy in a magnetic field—while having relatively low capacitance and active resistance.
Inductors (inductor sets) are intended for use in induction flowmeters employed as primary transducers in heat-metering devices. Depending on their design, inductors may be air-core or wound on a former. Inductors may be used in resonant circuits, as filtering elements in the power-supply circuits of radio-electronic equipment, in switching regulators, as electromagnets, etc.
Custom inductor coil manufacturing
**YuKON RU LLC manufactures custom inductors and coils of various shapes and configurations.** Coils can be wound on bobbins or produced as self-supporting coils, including coils made from self-bonding wire. We also manufacture Rogowski coils.
A dedicated mandrel is produced for each coil type. Coils with complex geometries, including those used in electromagnetic flowmeters, are press-formed after winding. We accept orders for quantities as small as one unit.
Products are manufactured according to the customer’s winding data or electrical specifications. We can also develop a complete set of design documentation or manufacture equivalent coils based on customer-supplied samples.
Custom product design is provided free of charge.
All inductors are covered by a three-year warranty.
Coils are wound on WH-800 precision layer-winding machines and are suitable for E-cores, U-cores, and pot cores. Our production capacity exceeds 10,000 inductors per month.
Rapid tooling production and an extensive stock of commonly used cores and bobbins enable us to provide free product samples within the shortest possible lead time.
