Head of the Materials and Technical Supply Department

Work format: on-site.
For candidates from other cities: presence at the employer’s location, YUKON RUS LLC, is required 4 days a week; 1 day may be worked remotely. Accommodation expenses in Novopolotsk will be reimbursed.
Responsibilities:
- Organizing and supervising the department’s activities. Ensuring an uninterrupted supply of high-quality materials and components for production in accordance with technical requirements. Monitoring the issuance of materials to production.
- Short- and long-term procurement planning and budgeting.
- Inventory management: analyzing the movement of raw materials and supplies and ensuring timely inventory replenishment.
- Analyzing the raw materials and supplies market and working to improve purchasing terms. Reducing costs per unit of production.
- Building and developing a database of potential suppliers.
- Managing procurement and transportation contracts.
- Coordinating with other company departments (Sales, Accounting, Design and Engineering, and Production).
- Handling claims with suppliers.
- Monitoring and tracking procurement-related accounts payable/receivable and identifying solutions.
Requirements:
- Higher education (preferably technical);
- At least 3 years of experience at manufacturing companies in electrical products and equipment, radio electronics, instrumentation, or mechanical engineering, including at least 2 years of managerial experience (with no fewer than 3 direct reports).
- Planning, supplier interaction, and business communication skills.
- Experience in evaluating and reviewing supply contract terms and business correspondence skills.
- Experience maintaining a product database (over 1000 items).
- Experience purchasing raw materials and supplies in the CIS, EU, India, China, and other foreign countries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and warehouse document management.
