PKFL Toroidal Transformers and Autotransformers
Toroidal transformers (autotransformers) are winding products based on toroidal wound-strip magnetic cores and form the basis of the company’s product range.
Toroidal transformers are the most efficient of all transformer types. They have lower weight and smaller dimensions for the same transmitted power. Combined with their ring shape, this facilitates installation, while their high efficiency makes them economical to operate and manufacture. Better cooling is achieved through the uniform distribution of the windings along the core. Since the windings are shorter, toroidal transformers provide higher efficiency due to the lower resistance of the winding wire.
Minimal stray magnetic fields also allow toroidal transformers to be used with electronic equipment sensitive to electromagnetic interference.
Thanks to their high performance and versatile design, they have a wide range of applications (power, lighting, medical, audio, matching, isolation, welding, and power take-off).
Due to their design features, autotransformers significantly reduce material consumption and product cost; however, they do not provide galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary winding groups.

## Custom Transformers from YUKON RU LLC
YUKON RU LLC manufactures custom two-winding and multi-winding transformers, with power ratings from **1 VA to 40 kVA**, for industrial, specialized, and household equipment, including power supplies for tube amplifiers. Single-unit orders are accepted.
Products outside our standard range can be manufactured according to the customer’s winding specifications or required electrical parameters.
### Free Custom Design
Custom transformer design is provided free of charge and includes:
– Calculation of the magnetic core cross-sectional area and window area
– Calculation of winding wire diameters
– Selection of optimal magnetic core dimensions based on the required finished-product dimensions and permissible temperature rise
Free samples are available. There are no restrictions on the number of windings or voltage levels.
We develop and manufacture equivalents of **TTP, OSM, OSR**, and other transformer types, including EI-core versions, while retaining the original electrical characteristics and overall dimensions.
### Warranty and Insulation
– **Warranty for PKFL toroidal transformers:** 3 years
– **Insulation thermal classes:** B (130°C), F (150°C), and H (180°C)
– Insulation materials include PPS and PET-E films, varnished cloth, LES tape, and twill tape
